Ok, ive got an extremely good deal on a Clifford RS3 that I'm probably going to through with (its that good of a deal), but my only question is this. How much are they going to charge me to install the badboy. I will be getting it from best buy, but I have heard nothing but bad things about them as installers. It is the top of the line model with remote start and all. Do you think its going to be more than $150 for a local shop to do it? If so, I don't think i'm going to get the unit. I'm sorry I don't have any experience with this, all my cars have had alrms in them previously, so I have never had to go aftermarket.

 

Clifford, Viper, Hornet are all DEI (Directed Electronics) brands now. Clifford used to be top notch - not sure anymore. PhxTRDRunner does alarms for a living - PM him for a recommendation and what install costs should run.
