Airbag Light

Does anyone know how to turn the airbag light off, the bags have not deployed but the light turned on...I'm hoping there's an easy way to reset it...

any help is appreciated

Did you pull the fuse? My Camry alarm used to be wired into the airbag fuse and everytime we pulled it the light would come on.

Try pulling the negative terminal off your battery for a couple minutes. See if that reset will help your situation.

You have to go to the dealer for this one, they have a SST(special service tool) to reset that light. The'll sock it to you, probably $50+!
You could try to disconnect the battery, but It probably won't work!

Good Luck!

It cost me $100+ to take in the Camry and do this stuff...

I know this isn't what a lot of people would do but if I knew it was because I pulled the fuse, I would really just unplug the battery and reset the stupid thing. If the idiot light came back then yeah, I'd definitely take it into the dealer.

airbag light on

My 04 4 runners airbag light just came on and stays on. They charged me $98 to diagnose it and want $1000 to fix it. I only have 46,000 miles on it. It looks like it would be covered under the warranty. I can't afford this now. Any suggestions? The codes were B1100 and C1336.

Flip flip flip. Aha B1100 is "Airbag sensor assembly malfunction". Flip flip flip, new airbag sensor harness $500. That will be $1000 sir!

Take it to some place that fixes cars, not replaces parts.

Looks like you (or someone with a very similar truck and code) already got an answer here: http://toyota.justanswer.com/questio...4-toy-4-runner.
