Check out Wheelersoffroad. He can have them cryogenically treated to give you the tuffest rotors out there.

I made my own pattern and did it my self. What a diffrence a cross drilled rotor makes stoping in mud, water.

hey data would my rotors be the same for my 98 2wd? I have the 16" wheels and I need some new rotors. You think the 4wd and 2wd are the same?

what's the latest on those rotors? How much improvement over stock? Are using aftermarket pads too? Problems with brake dust?

Coming up on new brakes myself, and Brembo has an outstanding rep for performance cars, just wondering how they'll work on the 4Runner.

Got my crossdrilled ones from Wheeer's Offroad and have not had any problems with warping and I went through 2 sets of factory ones in the past.

I also went with aftermarket pads from Autozone Performance Friction brand comes with lifetime Warrenty and is the same as what TRD uses. Brake dust is no worste than the factory pads.
Here they are on the Runner after a while.

www.taylorautomotive.com and www.tirerack.com have good prices on Brembo oem style ones. I got mine from taylor for like $51 and they got here in 2 days. Then I saw them on tirerack for $46!

I've had these for around 2 years now and I haven't had a bit of problems with them. Brake dust isn't bad either. All in all, they've been good to me

My 2 cents is go for the Raceconcepts cross dimped/slotted rotors. Ive ran these with Performance Friction pads for around 2yrs.and they're awesome. Brake dust isnt an issue and stopping power/feel is 10 times better than stock. Raceconcepts will give the right rotor (Brembo's)for whatever you need. They're only a couple dollars more than stock and well worth it. Talk to Wood at Raceconcepts, he knows his stuff.

I just want drilled though. I dont want slotted rotors cause they affect brake pad life.

I agree with you that slotted rotors shorten brake pad life. The slots act as sharp knives cutting on the pad at each pass of the slots.

However, slotted rotors perform better than cross-drilled ones due to their superior heat-dissipating ability. This is largely due to the slotted rotor's bigger mass.

Can somebody verify this for me before I order it?

I have a 98 4Runner 2wd with the 15" wheels.
I want the Brembo Brake Discs.

Im looking at Taylor Automotives site, and for the Brembos they show $42.80. I will definitely buy them for that. But, it looks like they have the same part number as the "Mountain" brand above, which doesnt sound right.

Can somebody tell me if Im looking at the right stuff?
Here's where Im looking:

Thx!

Call them and ask them. I think they have an 800 number. That is confusing.

Well I ordered the Brembo cross dilled rotor( part#35513) from a local shop in town. Their are for a 2001 Taco, but the dealership said it would fit, the stock rotor # is the same as a 2003 at the dealer. They were $245, I dont know if that's or !? Thanks for the input!!
