Aftermarket keyless entry
#2
I had a DEI Python Responder installed in January. So far, I love it. It features keyless entry, remote start and additional accessory functions. Remote start is a definate plus in the winter. I can start my truck from my office and have it warmed up when I get out there.
The range is good, but not what I expected. The dealer said a mile, I have yet to see that. The most I've gotten is 1000 feet. Still not bad, but I was promised a mile
Car Toys was selling this unit a month ago for $450.
I'll be adding a rear window up/down function, dual proximity sensors (one in front and one behind the seats in the cargo area), and a few other gizmos.

Hey Ralph-
When I bought my 4runner it had (and still does) a alarm and I assume keyless entry but the remotes and books were not included. Is there anyway to find out what brand it is and get it reprogrammed??
Thanks for taking a look at the post!!
