anybody check out the progressive heavy duty coil that wheelers sell, my guess it that it is too stiff for our application, it lifted the front of a stock, non TRD tundra 2".

I really need to do something different again. It's to the point that the tires rub the fender flairs. Whats is the latest news on the Sequoia coils? Where is that alignment shop @ too?

I think you might have too much weight on the 4Runner coils and I would try the Tundra coils with 1 Revtek spacer. You can always add the second if you have to. I think that actually your stock bumper and grill guard might actually weigh more than my TJM and winch. The winch weight is also moved much further back, where as the guard quite a bit further out multiplying it's effect. From Robb's TJM-T-17 install we came to conclusion that the stock bumper and crush bar and the TJM were a wash weight wise.

Yep, thats 3 sets of your springs. But I want them yesterday.
EDIT: Andy.. How did you verify the part number on your springs? We punched in 2003 Tundra V84X4 TRD and got about 25 different pairs..... I'm thinking about going back and changing my order..

Mine were those colors, so I assumed (uh oh) that they were the part numbers that were listed.

Now you see why it is VITAL to have a part number. This guy is already ordering coils and they might not be the right ones.
We need to track down the part numbers of the coils you have. Can you e-mail the eBay guy and see if he has a recipt of something?
Now if Gap Guys coils show up and they are not the same colors, they are not going to work the same.
NO-ONE SHOULD ORDER ANYTHING UNTIL THE PART NUMBERS ARE CONFIRMED !!!

Check it out if you have not seen this yet:

You are right, he went out on his own, but I really don't think people should do anything just quite yet. We are still working this out. Chill, People.

The Sequoia coils are cheaper as well, I guess it's a TRD markup or something. I know this is a 4WD coil, but this database lists it as a 2wd as well, so your part numbers may be fine.

More Info... I gotta figure out which RED/BULE Bilstein TRD Struts I have as well...
1. OEM Toyota/Bilsteins - color yellow/blue , labeled with both the Toyota and Bilstein brand names - comes as part of the "TRD" or OF option package. Toyota part # 4851009350 (front) & 4853109141 (rear). Toyota price about $150 new (set of 4), often about $125 on eBay (set of 4)
2. TRD Bilsteins for 4x4's - color red/blue, labeled with both the Toyota and Bilstein brand names. TRD part number 00602-48500-100. Available from Toyota Dealers as a TRD Sport Part. These shocks are 40% stiffer on bump and about 25% stiffer on rebound than #1. about $285 (set of 4)
3. TRD Bilsteins for 4x2's - color red/blue, labeled with both the Toyota and Bilstein brand names. TRD part number 00602-48500-101. Available from Toyota Dealers as a TRD Sport Part. These shocks are slightly softer at low velocities, but stiffer at high velocities than #1. about $285 (set of 4)
:pat:
my Seat-o-meter tells me I have the #3's. I'll verify and post it.
