Ac Pump

Does anyone know if an ac pump from the earlier years like 93-95 will work on a 96ltd. My pump is pooched and I cant find anything for the 96s and up.

The compressors will have a different pulley on the clutch. 90-95 used v-belts. The 3rd gens use a flat belt.

There would also be the issue of being sure that the older compressor had R-134. I believe that the change to R-134 occurred in the '94 model year.

Other than those issues, it should bolt up OK, or with only minimal modifications. If you just swap the hose plate from your existing set-up to the other compressor, it should be do-able.
