ABS diagnostic help

I need some help fixing the ABS on a 2000 4Runner.
When I stick the paper clip into the diagnostic port, I get codes 31,32,and 33. All wheel sensor codes. I replaced one of the sensors and that code still flashes when I re test. Could something else be causing it to code for 3 wheel sensors or is it more likely 3 sensors crapped out?

Could be the ABS ECU? I spoke with someone earlier this year at a swap meet who was getting multiple codes and that turned out to be the problem, nothing wrong with any of the sensors.

(Also, I don't want to derail your thread here, but if you have any tips about how to get those plastic clips out that hold the wiring in place, I'd definitely appreciate it. The grey one by the electrical connector is driving me crazy.)

you can pinch the bottom of the clip with needle nose pliers to release them, but since the new wheel speed sensors come with new clips, it’s easier to just break em off.

Thank you!

Were you able to figure out your 4Runner's ABS issue? I noticed you'd posted a few weeks ago. I'm sorry I can't remember the exact details the 4Runner owner who I spoke with had on his 3rd gen, but I think he also had three wheel sensor codes, and no other codes, and he replaced the ECU with one from a 4Runner at a pick and pull, and that solved the problem.

I cleaned all the wheel sensors and it seems fixed. I’m currently working on a 98 now that I made a separate thread for.
