? about AUto to Manual Conversion with ADD

I am thinking about taking my auto 3.slow and swapping in a 92 manual. I am wondering if any of you out there could tell me if I will have problems doing this because the 92 manual has ADD and my current setup on my 89 auto is manual hubs... Will the new tranny just bolt right up?

Thanks all~

Yep, well sort of. The ADD has nothing to do with the transmission. There is just one electrical switch on the transfer case and since you have manual hubs you can ignore it. The bigger issue you will need to watch is the ECU and harness for the engines - auto and manual engines are different. And I believe there is something about the clutch assembly you'll have to watch out for. But the ADD is not an issue.

I am going to put the engine and ECU from the 92 in as well... Should that take care of everything?

It should. You'll need the pedals and clutch MC also.
