___4 Runner as D.D. (which one)_____

Hey Guys______Looking for a 4Runner (2.4L, 4cyl.) years between 90—94 mainly as a D.D. and something my wife could also drive if necessary.
Question: Which year has the best Rep. for reliability, durability and mileage, first in the 5sp.Also is the Auto. in the 4cyl. (2.4l engine) reliable, and dependable in those years????? Looking forward with some responses from people who owned any of the years mentioned or anyone else who might have some info_________ THANKS BAYRUNNER

90-94 (and 95) are all 2nd gens. the only differences among those years are mostly cosmetic, and even then the differences aren't very much.

I would not, in a million years, consider getting a 4 banger in one of these rigs. It will be beyond slow, miserable to drive and just generally a waste.

If it had to be those years, look hard at a 95 with a V-6 and 5 spd. You might get to spend some time in the left lane.
