99 Runner problems

Well....left work early to go swap out my NGK's for some original toyota plugs....picked up some wires while I was there.....$100 later.......came home, cleaned the MAF, cleaned the throttle body, changed the plugs, changed the wires.......PRESTO...no more problems.
#4 had a substaintially larger gap than the others.....and 5 of the plugs where the same type and 1 was a different one.....all NGK. One had a 2 pronged end and the others were single.
Thanks again for the help guys! I plan on keeping this 4runner forever.

Nice job. Happened timeworn as wires. It would warm up.and not miss. But cold JE y would. At time if removal, the wireswerewarn out and one even broke. Keep on runnin!

You need to use the NGK's with the dual electrodes in the 3.4l. Single electrode plugs will burn off prematurely and fall into the cylinders. I ask me how I know!
