99 factory alarm help???

I have a 99 sr5, and I need to reprogram my alarm but can't find the brain to do so. Any idea where it would be AND how to reprogram the alarm so that it works again to be a keyless entry? The alarm and keypad are both OEM products. Thanks

Thanks so much for the help.

Dave, I have a 99' Limited 4Runner, and am wondering the same thing. One of my keypads broke, so I snatched two for $20 off of ebay, same as the factory ones with lock, unlock, rear window, and panic buttons. I later found out the dealership wanted $150.00 EACH! What a deal eh? Anyways, I was not sure how to program them myself, so I dropped it off at the dealership. I was explained how they program the keypads, but I too and wondering where the 'brain' or control box can be found. Sorry I couldnt help, but I am wondering the same thing. Peace.

Here's the programming manual for the RS3000, which is the alarm system that's in the '96's. I figue that the the '99's may be different, but it might help.

Past that, if you're look for the head end, I think it's underneath the driver's seat.

Update! Here're the specifics on adding a new remote:

And, the RS3200:
