yup, that's it man. And that's a really good price for the whole set of springs.

No man, no updates. I was supposed to take it in last saturday but something came up. I HAVE to take it in this saturday because the miles are mounting up and I'm worried about my tread wear. I'll update after saturday. Also from reading some threads on here pertaining to my steering wheel shimmy, I think I might need new bushings as well.

Do you know what the stock height of the coils were before you put them on? I put a set of LC's on mine and the wife's not to thrilled with the rake in it.

if i remember correctly it was something around 34ish from ground to fender. The 99 coils added about 1.5. They give the same lift as the ones from PP.

My coils are at 36" all around with the rears just being a tad higher.

jminz - did you ever solve your alignment problem? I have a new set of 99 springs, and I just bought KYB monomax shocks from ebay. I'll probably have them installed in 2 to 3 weeks. I'll post my results afterwards.

Shaking back and forth

Could very well be the balancing on your tires or if you have a out of round tire or tires this could cause this. I had the same problem and had my 4-Runner balanced and balanced and then took it to a expert on suspensions and then learned about this problem. I had a set of new tires put on Good quality tires, and the shaking was gone, just like that.

I know this thread is old, but just for anyone who finds it in a search I'd like to add my experience with a shimmy around those speeds.

I could feel a wobble a slow speeds, and an annoying vibration at higher speeds. I took it to Walser Toyota(MN), and they had a tech take it for a test drive. He told me he was 99% certain it was my tires, and nothing to do with the steering or suspension. My tires were pretty old, and he said if I'd hit any bad potholes it could have done something to the inside of the tire. Balancing didn't help. Once I got new tires the problem was solved.

I guess since I took the liberty of bumping this thread I might as well ask, if you still have this setup, how it's holding up 3 years later? I was debating on Bilsteins or Tokico, and then found the KYB Monomaxes are $35 cheaper than the Tokicos, and $70 cheaper than the Bilsteins. So now I'm curious about those.
