99 4runner 2wd...4wd (IFS) conversion..
Ok here's the story. I got given a 99 4runner 2wd auto last week from a guy at work. It has 240,000 miles, it would start when I first got it but wouldn't stay running, so I did a few things to the motor and now it stays running fine. I need to do cpl other minor things to the motor and then it'll be perfect. His son had left the window down in it for over a month. So I ripped all the carpet out, I'm going to be rhino lining it soon, had to use mildew cleaner to clean the seats and door panels..but it's in pretty good shape on the inside now. I could use new front leather seats tho. Overall the truck is in pretty good shape, only has one dent. Oh it's a SR5 also. What I'm wanting to do is convert the truck to 4wd (factory IFS), I would like to make it 5speed also but idk if it's even worth it. I would be able to do both of the swaps at the same time. But I'm wanting the truck to done before Christmas, so I'm wanting to know if I should swap it to 5speed or just keep it auto?
Also, I originally was wanting a tacoma w a 3.4, so if anybody would like to trade, I'm willing. It can even be 2wd, cause I'm already gonna have to do the swap.

4WD conversion + 5 speed swap on a 99. The only difference in the 4cyl, so ignoring the bell housing and input shaft difference, most of the swap is the same.
