'99 4-Runner brakes freeze when below 10

i have the same problem with my 99 4runner, is the check valve in same spot as above, mines a 3.4, also same part number?

wholy nutz - i couldnt imagine living where it gets below 10 degrees. Were spoiled in CA...

Can someone post a pic of this check valve? I seem to have a vacuum line running from the intake to the booster, but nothing in between.

I've had the dreaded "frozen brakes" happen once....last year. Hasn't happened yet this year. When it happens, it's not a nice feeling!

No picture but the check valve is mounted on the brake booster. It is a silverish/goldish part that is held in with a bolt.

It's an easy fix and it did fix mine.
