99 2x4 what to look for when buying
sold my 87, looking at this 99. Just curious what to look for when buying one. California truck so im not worried about rust, and it comes with carfax.

look for one that is 4x4....thats the first thing I would look for...
I was surprised at how many dealers tried to sell me 2 wheel drives without mentioning it....
actually a few of them even denied that they were 2x4 until I convinced them

What to look for? Hmm... a 4WD! Even if you don't think you will need it, it's nice to have and it will be easier to resell and will hold its value better. Price difference shouldn't be that much more, either.
And I'd try to look for a V6 w/ e-locker.

Well im moving to the dallas area around the first, just going to wait till i get there to get one, lots of cheap earlie 90s 4x4 22re's, unless i can find a 5 speed 4x4 3.4 for the right price.
