97 runner body on 1985 chevy frame?

97 runner body on 1985 chevy frame?

got a 97 4 runner want to put on a 85 fullsize chevy frame. jw what everyone thought about how hard it would be and some advice as far as dash set up

Interesting swap for sure but with enough time and money anything is possible. I think you'll have to engineer most everything...body mounts, steering, engine vs body placement, shortening the wheelbase, fender extenders? Seems to me you would be dollars and donuts ahead to source a used 4Runner frame.

Not knowing just how you define hard.

It will be a interesting and fun project

Are you talking about a frame or a rolling chassis with the differentials and suspension ??

From the work involved it will be faster and cheaper to make a new frame for the 4Runner

What is wrong with the 4Runner dash ??
