'97 4runner Sus-Lift

I am looking to do a lift on my runner that i just bought. Shes a 97 with 4x4 and lockers.. lookin to do a semi agressive lift maybe around 4 inches( i want to put 31 or 32's on her.. something i can drive every day and take out on the weekends.. need a ok ride just need some ideas. i cant find a company that puts out a suspension lift for my truck.. if you guys can give me some idea and or pics of your 3rd Gen runner it would be awesome. Thanks!!

there are many companies that make suspension lifts for your 97 4runner. i'm surprised you couldnt find one

to get you started, read our suspension faq: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f31/suspension-lift-faq-44741/

regarding lifts in general, you first need to decide what you want ot use your 4runner for. will it be a trail vehicle? or mostly a street vehicle? will you be off roading in mild or extreme terrain? and of course, what's your budget?

please read the faq above and then explore from there. pick out a few words to search and read because this is probably one of the top 5 topics that comes up every month. come back w/ some followup questions and we'll try to help you from there

edit: i see you modified your post w/ some more info, that helps also, look in the community forum and check out the 3rd gen section. pics in there w/ specs. DO NOT REPLY IN ANY OF THOSE THREADS.

With the stock suspension you can go up to a 265/75r16 (32x11r16) and with a 3" lift, you can go up a 285/75r16 (33x11.50r16)

Mine's a '96 and when i thought about going with a lift i considered a puck/spacer lift but decided that my suspension was close to being shot so i went with new coils, etc... So that's something else you might want to consider.

Here is a thread that has some good pictures of lift/tires. I am building up a lift as well on my 99.
