97 4R SR5 Alternator fix questions

Hello

Ok!, my 97 4R SR5 Auto with 158k miles, the alternator bearing makes horrible noise. Charging is fine. Everything works great except that horrible noise in cold morning. What kind of option do I have?

1. Replace bearing only (repair myself).
=> This is preferred option in order to preserve the oem Denso part as muc as I can.... I have good hand-on-skill but do not have all those fancy bearing presser etc though.

2. Get reman alt from rockauto
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=870629
=> it says it is DENSO reman. Does it mean it used original Denso bearing parts etc...? Anyone use this Denso Reman from Rockauto?

3. Just get this Ultima Alt from local Oreilly....
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...1468&ppt=C0330
=> The most easy option as it is local and comes with life time warranty. But, have heard NOT-SO-GOOD reputation of Ultima one...

Any comment/suggestion/advice?

Thank you

Do you have an auto-electric who can repair it for you locally so you can keep your alt? I have a great one with a test board from the 1930's--it has dials and meters the size of dinner plates and looks like it could command Captain Nemo's submarine. He even rebuilds classic gens and starters from all over the country.

Thank you for all your inputs.

At this point, I am looking for the best trouble-free solution with the least amount of down-time, meaning, I need to drive the car everyday to go to work.

The Alt charging fine. No performance issue at all (at least no noticeable symptom at all) EXCEPT the horrible pully/bearing noise.

I almost picked the "Ultima Reman" from local oreilly. Then, searching around, I noticed that there seem some horrible story with the name.

Now, I am leaning toward the Denso Reman from RockAuto. But I still wonder "if such Denso reman is really built with Denso original components by Denso itself...."....
