96' Tacoma purge/vsv issue - opinions needed

96' Tacoma purge/vsv issue - opinions needed
I have a 96' Tacoma and there is a clicking sound coming from the driver side firewall. It is coming from what I believe is the purge valve or switching valve(is that the same thing)?
It is pretty loud while driving and is constant unless im really on the gas. Is there something I can do to clean this part?
What is causing this sound and what are my solutions?
