Hey 97Limited! I'm from Vancouver, BC as well....I swear I've seen your truck on Robson before....I noticed it and saw the dual exhaust pipes...very nice ride!

As for adding dual exhaust...I really like the way Jason's turned out. I say go for it if you like it. Maybe they can fab it in such a way that if you ever relocate the spare tire later on, they can connect the dummy pipe to make it a fully functional system. Good luck!

Really? There are several vehicles that come from the factory with this setup ie. Ford's SVT lineup including the rare Explorer SVT.

Side-exit exhaust? Or turndowns? Turndowns are usually illegal, side exits I've never heard of being illegal. SVT Lightnings, Merc AMG's, Vipers, Roush and Saleen Mustangs, and lots of others come with side-exit exhaust.

It depends on what he does to the pipes after he cuts them, and where he cuts them. I believe it is illegal to run open pipes on public roads in pretty much every state, he'd have to make sure the exhaust still had cats (1 or 2 depending on where he puts them) and mufflers.

~Bill

Dual Exhaust

Hey guys I got a 92 for runner 4X4 its been a pain in my butt since day one. But I still love it. I got about 5 thousand invested. I have both heads off for a head gasket replacement. boy its been fun doing that. But Now i am thinking that maybe since I had to cut off the exhaust on the right side to remove the head. Now would be the right time to make it a dual exhaust. My question is this! Is there a exhaust manifold for the right side that drops down. Does anyone here have pictures that I can look at so I can see how its looks and how its done.

Thanks
Gary
