This does not match my '99 4Runner. This one shows a throttle control monitor device under the TPS on the throttle body which my 99 does not have. Mine (which I bought new, so its not been modified) has an auxilliary air valve under the throttle body, which this manual does not even show. I tried to find some confirmation of the fact that the manual is for a 96-02 4Runner, but was not able to do so. While I sincerely appreciate the effort someone went to in posting the documents, they appear to be wrong in some very critical areas.
It is for the 2001-02 4R, but the only difference is the Throttle body and the brake system for Trac and VSC really, are you looking for anything 96-2000 specific? I might be able to dig it up. The vacuum operated throttle stepper and IAC is adjusted and set from factory so you shouldn't have to mess with them, but you can clean and test the IAC, Timmy the tool man has a decent vid on that.
