96-02 4Runner Rear Differential Rebuild Kits?
3.4 AUTO 4x4 sr5 non e locker w 4.10
Anyone have a recommendation for rear diff rebuild kits? Randy's Worldwide and Morris 4x4 are the ones I've seen thus far. Not sure what kind of rebuild kit I need
Also probably going solid spacer so if a kit has that in it already, that's great.
Ring and pinion teeth look great, it looks so good I'm not so sure the pinion bearing is going bad... At this point I don't know if rear wheel bearing or rear diff is making the noise. It pushed gear oil out of wheels at one time, thus replacing the wheel bearings. considering putting new wheel bearings together and see if that stops the noise. (wish I hadn't pulled the 3rd...but it's only 12 nuts...)
Have parts to replace wheel bearing along with the abs rotor ring yadda yadda....
Depending on cost of the kit and cost of labor for local rebuilder, I MIGHT go with a ECGS prebuilt 3rd member.
so tell me what you know!

I sent my factory 4.10 third with 400,000+ miles to ZUK (Ken Francisco) a few months ago for a rebuild. My pinion seal was leaking and the diff had a noticable amount of play. I've now driven a few thousand miles since re-installing it and am very pleased that I took the plunge - the diff is quiet & smooth. No complaints.
I recommend his services without hesitation.
