I saw a 95.5 Tacoma for sale and have a couple of questions:

1) Does this model use OBDII?
2) What do you recommend for a scantool to troubleshoot?

I read an article on 4X4 Wire about OBDII systems on Tacomas. The article said that in 1998, the OBDII interface changed to ISO 9141. It also said that previous model years (1996/7 and presumably the 1995.5) used the GM VPW interface.

I just want to make sure that before purchasing this model year, there are tools available for the home mechanic to troubleshoot it.
