93 3.0 engine swap to 89 3.0 Help

Having problems swapping out my 93 4Runner's engine with an 89 PU 3.0. Have everything hooked up but rotor/distributor is different than the 93's. Do I need the computer from the 89 to get it to run properly? Need help.

No offense, but it violates epa laws to swap an older engine into your car. The engine needs to be the same year or newer.

Sorry man, I don't know the answer to your problem. I do have a distributor for sale from a 90 model if you need. Check the for sale section, there's a picture of it there. Or PM me. Good luck.
