'91 4Runner Rear Sag
Hello,
I have a '91 Toyota 4Runner that I purchased approximately two years ago and I see it with an enormous amount of 4Runners around town. The rear end of the vehicle sags down, as if the shocks or springs or blown. Is this a common problem with the factory shocks or springs or is it just how the 4Runner was made during this time period. I have not had a chance to start upgrading my truck yet, but I'm getting ready to. The first thing I need to know, though, is whether this is simply replacing the shocks and springs or if it is installing a lift kit. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Scott Dennison

From what I understand, the 4 Runners were made using the same springs as the Pick Ups. That's why they sag. Just changing the springs will correct this...

Shock have nothing to do with the ride height.
