I just met someone recently(best friend of a close friend). Anyways, he has an 89 4cy 4x4 Pickup. He's got a manual and says that he has lost a couple different gears. The question, is that he says that the transmissions in 89 were different than other years and that he has to find another 89 to be able to swap. Is this true? Any info would be great.
