It's the stock housing but machined out inside so that the compressor wheel fits properly. I have gotten full boost at 2500 RPM on premium, so it seems to be fine to me, though it is a little on the large size for the exhaust side.

EDIT: if the trade comes with the girl in your avatar I might reconsider

I'm pretty sure I'm keepin it, but I would be interested in hearing what you guys think it might be worth.

definetly under 10k, probably in the 7k range

unfortunetly unless you find a buyer who wants the exact truck you are selling, you will never get a good price after you mod it.

this reaches across all boards unless you have a super popular show car aka the VW from F&F sold for stupid money to the stupid TV show kid.

my M3 had hover 30k into it and I was lucky to squeeze 14k from it, funny how nice stock examples go for 14k still

Lurking over on the supra forums they are complaing about the stock ct26 not flowing enough above 5500 rpm when that engine doenst redline till 6something grand... Most of em cited an exhuast clip to remidy that and add top end power. Im just curious if you've noticed this as well with the larger compressor?

I've read that as well, but I haven't gotten on it too hard yet to be able to tell you. Well, I did actually hit 7k in 1st gear the other day cuz it revved so freakin quick, but in the higher gears I hit fuel cut when I stay on it hard so I can't tell you yet. I bought my upgraded turbo used with no miles and it was great deal so I just went with it as is.

Actually it is the opposite. Guys running the same compressor wheel on a TO4 turbo with much larger turbine, can make quite a bit more power. If it wasn't for the small turbin, the CT-26 would be a much much better turbo...but heh, toyota built them for the street. Quick spool time.

MAybe it wasn't clear, but that is the same thing I was saying; that the limitation on the ct26 is the exhaust side or turbine.

Ahh, scratch what I said. Though you were saying the exhaust was too small. It is too small for the compressor.....yes it is...hehe.
