hey yall, I just got an 87 yota pick up. Its pissin me off because the temp gauge says it is running hot, but it doesnt seem like it is. Then when I turn the heater on the temp gauge goes down, what could be wrong, and the cheapest way to fix!!!! The truck also idles really ruff especially in drive when i first start it.

 

run a search for overheating and sift thru the info. for the idle, run a search on rough idle.
