86 std. cab w/ carb

I have a 86 toy truck with a 22R carb. It has a 4" trailmaster lift with 94 running gear. Right now it is out of service due to a blown head (4th time) and abused clutch. I've been offered
$ 1,000 by friends. Should I keep it and fix it, or fix it and then sell it, Or should I sell it as is? What's it worth?

By blown head do you mean blown head gasket? If that's the case and it has happened 4 times you probably have a warped block or head or both and the motor is not worth anything. Take the $1000 you were offered and get an '85 or older straight axle rig to build.

ya im pretty sure that the block is shot. I have put in a new head and the gasket still leaks after about 20,000 miles. Did i mention when it is running it doesn't pass smog.... I'll probably sell it. Too many great memories .. it's a sad day...
