I'm using 2 nuts on each cap screw on this batch. The nuts are stainless and weaker than Class 12.9. ( the blue ones) However, since there are two, together they are WAY more than enough (and stronger than 12.9) to hold 'em on and they ain't coming loose. They also won't rust. One nut is a regular nut, the other a nylock.
You only need to apply enough torque to keep it from spinning when you tighten the nuts. With the friction, that isn't very much torque at all.
Well I powered through today and packed up all but I think 1 or 2 pair. I'm out of hardware but will get the rest tomorrow and ship the remaining two Saturday.

Thanks for the info

All the metric stuff I've ever bought was for rc cars and I always bought metric blues. I think they are grade 12.9 w/ the blue semi-rust resistant coating.

My advice to anyone who is concerned about the hardware is to try the stuff the spacers came with first. You'll likely see that this is some seriously heavy duty hardware and doesn't strip easily at all. I think you'll find that when the hex key is seated in the screw, it stays in there much more easily than a normal hex head and is easier to tighten.
28 boxes went out today. I have 2 more to ship out tomorrow. I'll work hard to get everyone their tracking numbers tonight and tomorrow.

Got the spacers in the mail today. They were packaged great and everything was very neat and professional. I can't wait to get the time to get these things on there, hopefully this weekend will allow enough time.
Thanks again for the great deal, Frank, thanks for offering this product, and thanks for putting the effort into packaging them perfectly, even though you had over 30 to ship out at the same time.

Which way do they go
Just got my spacers today, very nice and fast shipping. Thanks frank. Gotta quick ?
This may be a stupid question but, which way do the spacers go?
Does the notched area go against the ball joint or the control arm? I'm guessing it goes against the ball joint and would provide drainage, but since I haven't looked at things really closely I'm just guessing. I'm hoping to begin the install tomorrow.

Got mine today!
Holy crap, your pictures don't do these any justice! Don't you have any that are scuffed up? These will be way out of place on my truck! Just kidding!!! I guess it will make them easier to show them to people after they are installed. Thanks again for putting together a fantastic product!
