85 runner timing?

What is the stock timing for a 22e efi? The smog guy said mines at 30 degrees and it needs to be at 5 degrees. and you dont use a smog gun to change it.

is this guy crazy.

22re stock timing should be 5* BTDC with the check connector shorted, or 12* BTDC with it not shorted. Don't know why the smog guy would have checked unless it was running rough?
