5/7 MGE AMF into 3VZE

I did a search on this, and found this post by Cebby about swapping the AFM's. Unfortunatly most of the pictures don't work for me. So I couldn't get all the info I was hoping for.

I was at Pick-your-part the other day and found a few dozen Celica/Supras with 5 and 7 MGE's in them, in varying states of dissassembly. And it got me thinking(unfotunatly it also got me thinking about an engine swap I can't afford).

I saw that Cebby was looking to relocate the 7MGE AFM to near the cruiser control. But does anyone know if it's possible simply unbolt my 3VZE AFM and bolt a 5/7MGE one to my airbox? I don't mind having to do a some modifications and fabrication to get it to bolt up. But will I have to mess around with anything electrical?

here ya go running 3.0 with 7m AFM

edit.. Its not a simple bolt in but more of a FrankenAFM. The voltage advance is too steep on the stock 7m afm I had to swap the trace boards and return.

I still need to do the same thing....as I attempted it....either that or throw down 200 for a split second controller so I can use a MAF...being poor sucks!

And also toysrme pushing me to turbo my yota isnt helping! LOL the MOMENT i have a second daily driver the 3vze is getting turboed...
