4x4 vibrations

Ok, here goes. When I press the 4x4 button, (AWD) I get a noticeable vibration from the front. Feels like a bad u-joint/bearing. Dont really notice it below 25 mph. Sounds like a classic bad u-joint, right? So I had the front and rear drivelines checked and balanced. No change. replaced the front axles. No change. Front end is tight, the front and rear diffs have new gears, lockers and bearings. Ideas?

sounds like a misalgined ring and pinion in the front diff.

also you can never really trust anybody so you may have a bad ujoint or out of balance driveshafts and u-joints.

dont take my word for it though, lets wait and see what the others have to say

the front driveline went to two different shops, same conclusion. Any other ideas before I yank the front diff out?

Was thinkin same thing as a bad front gear install... was this present before the new gears/lockers? If not, it gives a very good idea of what the problem may be

My old rear U-Joint actually sounded worse at low speeds

are you engaging 4WD on dry pavement?
if this just started after the install than sounds like a install issue to me.
