I have a 2000 4Runner Ltd that now does not want to come out of 4wd. A mechanic has looked at it, and the switches are fine(will disengage if manually crossed). He has also ruled out the sensors. I'm stuck in 4 high and the dash indicator light just flashes constantly.

Any ideas?
