4wd limited J shift transfer case

Hello everyone. I have a 1998 4runner limited. We had engine issues, bent rod, so i found a local salvage yard that had a donor engine with 150,000 miles on it. After swapping the engine we noticed the wiring harness back to the transfer case was different. The donor truck was sr5. The limited transfer case that was in the truck was bad anyways so I went back and grabbed the J-shift case for $180 and put that it. everything wired right up. The transfer case works and is quiet but I no longer have 4wd. The one that was in the truck was not the multi mode, it just had the push bottom 4wd and a neutral and 4lo. Looking for relay at the passenger kick panel i noticed there was none. There is, instead, a 4wd computer on the drivers side kick panel. Is there anyway to make this all work together easily? The other issue is while in 4LO the transmission does not shift out of first and we do off road with it pretty often. Right now to get 4wd i switch the vacuum lines at the solenoids.
Thanks!
