Jason,

Sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your dealership. You need to go to another dealer and see if they can resolve your issues. Also search on as many boards to see if others have a similar problem as you are having.

More than likely, someone else has had the problem fixed and you can give the feed back to the dealer.

I have had nothing but awesome service at my dealer (not the dealer I bought my 4Runner from because they are....well I'll be nice).

Scott

I find it hilarious how people like you (Jason) will automatically assume that, i.e., Ford is better than Toyota, just because you were one of the unlucky FEW that had a problem with your Runner. Compare statistics, you're chances of having worse incidents with a Ford are MUCH higher than with your Runner with its "loose seat" and "whiny differential".
Seems to me like you're making this out to be a much bigger deal than it really is. I'm sure that if your a little more patient, the dealer will pull through. Or do like others said, take it to another one. Sheesh.

I'm also having mailers printed up and distributed in several NY and NJ news papers.

I never said anything about burning the dealership down. I will however hurt the dealership and Toyota financially by probing their customer database and interfere with the delivery of new vehicles at Johnstons Toyota.
If you want to go even further then call the FOX5 problem solvers, Im sure Toyota would love to see their 4Runner featured in a 10 minute segment

You must post pics of the magnets

Try some Midol. My wife says it helps her.

You guys are rough . We have all been there frustrated and all, sometimes you just have to vent. But of all the different cars I have owned, Toyota is one of the best.

I should probably ask this in another thread, but seeing I am at work....GRRRRRR, and have too much work to do, what is the best type of wax to get out the swirles in black paint. My 4Runner has ALWAYS been handwashed and I noticed yesterday the there were swirles in my paint. Not sure where they came from because I have never noticed them. But if you guys have a good recommendation, I would appreciate it.

BTW.....I LOVE MY 4Runner!!! And so does the gas station
