4Runner Seats

I've got a 99 Tacoma and just bought some limited 96-02 4runner seats and have a question about them if any of you could help..

I need to take apart the seats for something and on the driver's side seat there is a manual knob that you can turn to move the bottom part of the seat up and down. How do you remove this circular knob??

Are youtalking about the manual seat form your tacoma or the limited powered seat? Do you have a reguler cab, extended cab or crew cab. You might face some problem if you have a extra cab tacoma if you try to swap the limited seat in there.

It's held on by the same type clip that hold window crank handles on. Push the fabric away from the handle and you'll see a wire spring clip on the sleeve that fits over the shaft. Pry or pull the clip with a hook or screwdriver and it will usually fly off, get lost, and you'll have to order a new one from Toy that will have to come over from the mother country.
