I'm trying to help a friend[caveman no computer] fix his 4runner.The truck is a 92 V6 4x4 5 speed and was running excellent despite 330,000 + kms.There is no power at the dash at all when you turn the key on but the headlights,hazards,horn and door buzzer all work fine.I was checking the fuse box under the hood and there is 12volts there.Anybody have a idea what may be going on?I was thinking maybe a relay,switch etc.Thanks any help would be appreciated.

 

my parking lights fuse was burnt out and it made the dash lights not come on as well... however headlights worked fine.... the brake lights worked and so did the turn signals

 

The problem here is we have no electrical at all.You can't start it,when you turn the key it's as if the battery is unhooked.I told him to get a manual and then we can check resistance of relay's etc but I was hoping maybe this was a common problem.Thanks for the responce.
