4runner beeps

Hey guys.
I was on a right hand curve in the road and was accelerating through the turn after initially slowing down to begin the curve. I was obeying the posted speed limit for the section of the road where the curve was located. As i began accelerating into the curve a beeping noise occurred and the skid light came on. A moment later the beeping stopped.

This only happens on right hand turns. I have heard a few other people that this has happend to but havent heard why.

Any thoughts on this?
Its really annoyin because its happening more often and they are no even big turns. But always right hand turns.
Any thoughts will help.

The problem is the skid control system and any type of lift don't see eye to eye. You can do the yaw rate sensor recalibration and it will help a little bit.

If it gets too annoying you can do the Andy mod 2.0 to disable the VSC selectively.

No it will drive just like a pre-vehicle skid control 4runner. All the 4runners from 96-00 didn't have skid control and the owners have no problem controlling them.

The skid control is good if your the type that thinks you can drive a 4runner like a sports car. But if your a sane reasonable driver the skid control is more of a annoyance than a benefit.

But I maybe bias about not needing skid control because I learned advanced driving when I went through the police academy. A stock (unlifted) 4runner can do a hell of a J-Turn
