How rare is this combo? I found one in a friends backayrd junkyard. Its a 97 green 4runner with a 4 cyl, what im assuming is a 3vze, 5 speed, 4wd. Its in pretty rough shape, as the motor or tranny is blown (according to them, why it was parked) and its been there like 8 years or so. Just wondering really... could use a project vehicle, and a newer 4runner would be fun!

if its cheap as in like 300 bucks and its in good shape could part it out

Yeah... were talking like at most 300 bux cheap. interior is thrashed from a broken window but rust wise its super solid. Maybe it will pop up in the parts section soon... siked it had a title in the glovebox haha

3rz/5 speed is a common combo... 5vz/5 speed is a much better / rare combo.
