So as some know not to long ago I worked on the transmission. Well after 1500 miles the clutch went out. I was at a stop sign when I heard tires and saw smoke heading my way from the rear. I pretty much burnt my clutch taking off to avoid getting hit. My truck is in one piece but my clutch is slipping now. I have been looking at Marlin and aisin clutches. I even found oem Toyota clutch/ pressure plate for right under 200 without flywheel and other needed parts. I am slowly building my truck and will be driving out doors once a month or so. What clutch do you guys recommend??

If you took out the clutch just dumping it one time it must have been at the point of failure !!

Go with either the Aisin or Marlin Crawler although if your hard on clutches the Marlin is the way to go

The Marlin does seem like a better option. I went on Toyota parts everything clutch, rear main seal, fork, bearings, clips, etc comes out to be $330 that's extremely cheap for being all oem from Toyota.

Did you price out the clutch plate

the clutch release bearing

The pilot shaft bearing as well

It is not like Toyota has a clutch kit each item needs to be priced separate .

Then just how does the fly wheel look

Yes everything you order is separate. All that included and rear main seal. Flywheel is unknown as I have yet to take out the transmission again. Oem flywheel is expensive so I might just buy one off Marlin they sell used ones resurfaced already.

Marlin Crawler 1200lb clutch kit (tell them to check box for all right parts, wink) & a TOYOTA REAR MAIN SEAL.
