4R sales stronger this year than last
For all those who think the new 4Runner is not as popular as the 3rd Gen model it sold 2116 units more in feb 2003 than in feb 2002
So far total sales for 2003 which includes Jan and Feb is 14,058 units sold in the 1st 2 months of 2002 is 10,411
The GX sold 1,983 for feb and total for jan and feb is 4,005

I'm not surprised. Toyota is not one of the most popular manufacturers out there because they make stupid decisions.
The new 4Runner styling targets a bigger audience of buyers. Let's face it, Toyota knows what their doing. I'm just happy I own one (a Toyota).

I have talked with 2 different dealers near me and the 4th gen Runners aren't selling well at all. Maybe in other parts of the country. I rarely see any around. I do see quite a bit of the '02s. Maybe they're on special
