4Crawler 1.5" Body lift installed! (pics)
Hey everyone! I recently bought a 1.5" body lift from 4Crawler because I had some rubbing issues with my 295's and the SS 7.2 lift, mainly when I was fully flexed in the rear. I picked that height because I wasn't sure if the one inch was enough, but I thought that two inches would be too much.
The install went smoothly, but the biggest pain I ran into was getting the washers off of the stock bolts to remove them! Those things are really stuck on there! I really like how it turned out, and now I have no rubbing In the next little while I'll be making some gap guards to get rid of the gaps.
Onto the pictures!
NON-Flexed (better ones to come):
Before:
After:
Next to my sister's '99 limited, it is exactly 5" taller at the top of the wheel arches.
Next to a stock 96-98 4Runner:
Flexed:
Any comments and/or suggestions are always welcome

I 2nd the non flexed request.
Would like to see how it sits on level ground. They are nice wheels and if you like them who cares. What size are they? back spacing? Only ask bc i would like to put that tire size on the stock 99 5 star wheels.
I have OME 881 and 890, which i think i similar in hight to the ss 7.1. I am ordering a 1.5 body lift for a similar setup like your are running.

It is a little lower than it was before (in relation to the body) but it looks much worse in that picture because of the shadow. The chrome reflects a little of the underside of the grille.

Thanks man. The wheels are Moto Metal 951s... I am running 16" ones with i believe 4.5" backspacing, and I don't have any issues with the a-arms. With the stockers you might have to modify those though.

Other things that are necessary with 1.5"+ BL is the steering shaft extension, I lowered the radiator, and raised the front bumper. Really straightforward install. Roger Brown makes some quality parts
