4 inch suspension lift?
this guy says he has a 4inch lift is it 2wd?http://www.buysell.com/bestoffer/vie...sp?id=20662109

I think it is a 4wd, I don't think Pro Comp makes a Suspension lift for that style 4runner in a 2wd. It also sets up higher and allows for more clearance, it is able to run 33" tires and I think the 2wd with 4" suspension can run 31" tires. Not to sure though but it looks pretty nice. Don't see many new body style 4runners lifted

That rig does in fact have a Pro-Comp 4" suspension lift. It has been fitted to that rig using the kit for the Tacomas. You can tell it has it by the little silver image you see in the wheel wells. That is a upper ball joint spacer provided in the PC lift kit. Also you can see the aftermarket skid plate, which I'm also assuming is part of the PC kit.

I'm a 3rd Gen 2WD and lifted, 2.5", I can easily run 33's with correct backspacing. I'm running 32's with the stock wheels right now, new AR wheels and I will fit 33s for my next set. So you don't really need 4" to clear 33's. But I do agree that it is a PC lift for Taco's just modified a bit.

Cause the front end alone is $1000. That doesnt include shocks or springs. Just some fancy brackets to lower the diff and a upper ball joint spacer. Then you have to get some custom rear springs or spacer, which might be $300-$500. So thats $1300. Your stuck with your stock springs and shocks. Go buy new springs and shocks, thats like $250 more. Your at $1550. Add professional installation if you cant do it yourself--$600? Your up to $2150. So for over $2000, you basically now have room to fully stuff 285's. OR....
You can just do a basic 2.5-3 inch suspension lift, and a 1" body lift. Much cheaper and easier.
