4.7L Supercharger and other similar info

Hey all-

Just thought I would throw out a few facts @ ya, while I'm researching and saving for the blower. TRD now has 6 different factory warrantied blowers...even for the 1.8L Matrix now. Here are the stats for the V-8:

Hp jumps from 235 to 355
Tq jumps from 320 to 440

Should be able to find one for about $4000+$500 for the certified install...if that matters to you...should only take a day to install everything yourself (6-8 hours)...that's all for now. Oh yeah, what do you guys think the 0-60 and 1/4 miles times will jump to with all that added power?

Stock they are around 7.4 and 15.5

I figure 6.2-6.5 and 14...let me know what you all think...peace.

I have yet to see valid numbers come from TRD.
Only a Dyno will tell you the reality of what you gained in RWHP.

MTL-

Definitely in agreement with you about the TRD numbers. We all know the 1st gen blower for the 3.4's was vastly overrated. Since hardly anyone has spent the money on blowing the 4.7 my quess is as good as yours. A dyno run will definitely be in the works post installation. Thanks.

I noticed someone over at the forums on edmunds.com just had the SC installed on their 03 V8. Here's the link:

It'll prob be a good few weeks before the install, but I do plan on keeping my FIPK and magnaflow exhaust...just have to work with the ECU/PCM a little. I know that I will be running lean with this setup, but I've done it before...had a 99' V-6 Taco with the FIPK, TRD exhaust, JET reprogramming on the ECU (most of us know this is a questionable upgrade...only did it cause my buddy works @ Jet and I got it for free), and TRD Headers. I will definitley let you guys know how all turns out, and already have an autometer air/fuel gauge coming my way in the mail...where do you think it should be running in regards to the a/f ratio? Thanks.
