3vze Valve Adjustment

Has anyone here adjusted their own valves on a 3vze. I see there are a couple of SST's needed. HAs anyone figured out a way to do it without the SST. Any feedback would be great

Thanks

You can measure the clearance of all valves. Determine the shim thickness then remove the cams to install the new shims then reinstall the cams . If you are going that far I would install some performance cams.
Good luck.

But using the forty dollar tool is way faster than yankin cams. And you only need the tool to change the shims. If they are within spec,no tool needed.I only had one that was off-ex #6.The hardest one to reshim even with the tool.
