3VZE question...

I've got a 3VZE that started making a very loud intake sound (whoosh-type). There's less power now too.

I noticed a plug was disconnected from the plenum and reconnected it but no help. Can anyone give me any idea where to look to figure this out?

I would first make sure that all the hoses are still connected and then check your filter and all else connected to it to make sure that nothing broke apart. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the replies.

It was the fan clutch. If you torque the fan to the fan clutch too tight it will strip the stud or fan clutch itself. Everything is cool now thanks to vise-grips and locktite.
