3VZE idle bounce problem
Hey guys,
I am having an intermittant, engine warm, problem with my idle where the engine will rev up to about 1250, try to stay, and then drop suddenly to 800 or 900 RPMs then rev right back up. Does this sound like a vacuum prob? I checked what hoses I could and didn't find anything. I also have some hesitation until the engine warms up if that helps. The plugs are new. Thanks for any help, -Chris

It sounds like it could be the TPS.
Check out this page.
The symptoms of a bad or misadjusted TPS are near the bottom of the page.
Do a search and you'll find a lot of info.
EDIT: It probably wouldn't hurt to clean your throttle body. You might as well eliminate the easy stuff first.
