3rd gen LTD runningboard removal???

I will be removing my running boards soon and have seen some pics as to what it looks like...w/ LTD flares. Does anyone w/ the LTD flares have front mud flaps on? Any pics? I did a search and spent over an hour reading. I've seen the Pep boys flaps on non-flared 3rd gens. Any other alternatives? Looking to get a factory look if possible. Pics would be great. -thanks

I put on some from autozone but they are too small and really dont do anything. I've been trying to find a set from a 2wd taco.

Are you talking about this type of boards?

New ones from the dealer run around $350 I believe. They are made by Toyota/DeeZee. I purchased my tube steps slightly used for $150.

Hope this helps,

Are you trying to avoid mud splattering up on the door? I've been running mine without flaps since 01 and I have to work really hard to get mud to splatter up for me it's kind of a non issue, plus I can't see anything matching the limited appearance.
