would like to see a pic of that rideexileex
thanks Ritz no the Infinity BassLink is not custom to the 4Runners whatsoever. You know I went with the bungees because invariably as soon as I screw/bolt it down I need to take it out for a cargo run. This gives me the greatest flexibility to move it around out of the way and still keep it secured.
It used to just sit like this and it stuck up too far and was always wanting to tip over so I had to screw 2 brackets down and then it was always in the way.

I'll see if I can snap some pictures tomorrow for you. My favorite aspect about the woofers pointing downward into the floor is that it naturally protects the speakers. I have no worries about throwing whatever in the rear end and having the cones damaged. Also, the design also allowed me to run eye-bolts through the bottom part of the box that is still off the carpet, and I ran steel cable through them and the cargo D rings, which secure it from theft and from dislodging in an accident. BTW the cable is proven design effective - when my last 4runner rolled, the box was dangling from the floor, which at that time was the ceiling :p
